We are a mother-daughter team living in Northern California and South Florida. My mother, a retired English and art teacher, has a passion for storytelling that inspires our journey. I am her daughter, a SAG member I’m her daughter, with on-screen experience and a background in television production, including producing credits on shows like Dr. Phil. with over a decade of experience in the industry.

Together, we are dedicated to bringing our family's legacy to life through the screen. My mother, Kathryn Dolezal, is the author of Drums in the Hills, a novel meticulously crafted from the diary of my great-grandfather.​ We have a compelling 30-page treatment outlining an eight-episode series, this story is ready for development.

 My great grandfather Frank traveled from Austria to Mexico in 1910, seeking his destiny in a foreign land, where he quickly encountered Pancho Villa and a beautiful young Spanish woman who changed the course of his life with the backdrop of a country on the brink of calamity.

 

In our treatment, we shift the focus to Clara, following her perspective during the Mexican Revolution as she navigates forbidden love while battling the shadows of her tumultuous lineage amidst the chaos of warring factions and the treachery surrounding her.​
